Third day of class July 11th
Wow i had no clue that powerpoint was so simple to set up, this is going to be awesome to use next year in class. I think the kids will get a kick out of the funny pics from clip art that you can put in to your slides. Little stuff like that goes a long way with ninth grades. The web quests seem to be pretty simple so far too, but im not really done yet so i guess ill have to wait till tomorrow to know if they are as easy as they seem.

I know exactly what you mean about how attention grabbers can be such a great tool to keep freshmen focused. Just the use of PowerPoint in the classroom seems to mesmerize students who may be used to typical "stand and deliver" teaching methods. Good luck with your WebQuest!
